Knights of Columbus

Mission: Founded in 1882 in New Haven, Connecticut, the Knights of Columbus is a fraternal benefit society.  Blessed Father Michael J. McGivney started the order to assist men in his parish who were financially desperate.  The order today has 1.9 million members in North America, Europe and Asia.  Our principles are “Lead with Faith, Protect your Family, Serve Others and Defend your Values.”

Membership:  Open to any male practicing Catholic over age 18.

Council 8535:  Currently we have 75 members some of whom started the council in 1983. We assist our priest with charitable works in the parish and the school community as well as the community at large.
